Free Torres del Paine Survival Seminar - November 2008

Everyday, since 2004 at 3 o'clock erratic rock has offered a daily trekking seminar to the backpacking travelers in Puerto Natales, Chile. Affectionately nick-named 'the 3 o'clock talk', the info sessions cover details about Torres del Paine, weather, equipment, trail food, packing, reservations, refugios, trekking, climbing, transportation, catameran and the big question: "...do you need a guide?". Join their guides everyday at 3pm for a cup of coffee and the truth about how Patagonia is put together. Come early due to limited seating.

BBC  Serious Ocean - December 2007

Serious Ocean was filmed in late 2007, and aired in 2008, featuring eight adventurers traveling to the isolated coast of Chile, living on a boat before moving on to assist in the survey of Glacier Chloe, the most southerly glacier outside the Antarctic. Follow the BBC crew and erratic rock guides as they train the team members and crew for 12 days on Glacier Chloe as they mark and survey the glacier, in attempt to track annual movement of the ice.

Try Before You Die - November 2007

Dutch television presenter, Filemon Wesselink, travels to Patagonia with erratic rock to test his resolve against Glacier Grey in Torres del Paine National Park. Filemon presents 'Try Before You Die', a long running series that travels the world in search for once in a lifetime experiences. A local group of friend take Filemon out for a weekend on the ice in hopes to explain the attraction to life on the ice.
