SELF GUIDED CLASSIC "W"

ULTRALIGTH, ALL INCLUDED, FULL BOARD REFUGIO O CAMPING

 

 

 

   

Day 1

You must go to the bus terminal to take the 7:00 am bus (we recommend being at least 10 minutes before departure) to go to Torres del Paine National Park. after 8:30 hrs. You will be at the main entrance, Laguna Amarga, where you must register, here you will transfer to “Las Torres” shuttle, who will take you to the Visitor’s Center. Check yourself in at the Cerro Paine Reserve and, after about a 5 minutes’ walk, you will arrive at Torre Central where you must check in, either in refuge or camping, before starting your trekking.

From the Refugio or the camping area the trail starts, you pass Las Torres Hotel and start one of the most emblematic trails that finish with one of the most iconic viewpoints in the world, the famous Base of the Towers lookout. At 900 m.a.s.l., you will be marvel with the 3 granite towers (north, central and south) and the bright turquoise glacial lake at its feet. return along the same path back to Torre Central. After a long day and enjoying the Towers, dinner at the refugio. (21 km.). Full board included.

Day 2

This day the goal is Los Cuernos or Frances (depending of availavility) follow Nordenskjold lake with incredibles views crossing streams that comes strait from the glaciars above you. During this hike you will pass through beautiful crystal-clear streams, and you can admire the condors gliding from the heights. Continue along the trail until you reach Los Cuernos or Francés refuge, where you will relax for the evening. (12km. to16 km.). Full board included.

Day 3

Explore the French Valley, this trip is a full day in to the most famous valley of the park, after reach Italiano you wil start to going up to the plateou, perfect spot for having lunch watching avalanches in the French Glaciar. Enjoy the views and keep walking in the direccion of Paine Garnde Refuge, the most amaizing views of lakes glaciars rivers and forests. (16k-18k). Full board included.

Day 4

The goal for that day is to get from Paine Grande to Refugio Grey that is in front of the immense Southern Ice Field, check in in the refugio and go for a short walk to see the glacier, kayak trip with bigfoot (not included, we can help you to book) or go for the 3 extra hrs. to the hanging bridges, one of the best views of the Glaciar. Back to the refugio to spend the last nigth.

Day 5

After breakfast, hit the trail following Lago Grey all the way back to Paine Grande, enjoy the lasts views of southern icefields and with the wind in your back  finish your "W" Circuit in the shore of Pehoe Lake, take the catamaran at 6:30 pm (30 minutes crossing), once you get to the other side you must jump into the regular bus, and 2 hours later you will be in Puerto Natales.

 

 

 

 

    PROHIBITED TO USE STOVES, SMOKE OR MAKE CAMP FIRE IN THE TRAILS!!!

Include: All transportation, catamaran tickets, all food, acomodations, park entrance

Not include: Guide, insuranse 

Torres del Paine has a high population of Pumas,an encounter is posible, follow the instruccions of park rangers and guides, if you are by your self just keep distance, give him space and enjoy the moment.

This programs are designed to hike just with your personal items and equiptment,at the end of the day your tent or bed and your food will be ready waiting for you.
