Summary:
Located deep in the heart of Torres del Paine, off the beaten path, lay a granite arête called Aleta de Tiburón or 'Shark's Fin'. Surrounded by some of the most challenging big walls on earth, such as like Cerro Catedral and Cota 2000, as well as the massif south west face of Cerro Fortaleza.
Itinerary:
Day 1
Our Trip will lead us to the Campamento Británico, located on the boundaries between the forest and the moraine deep into the French Valley. In this place we will set up the base camp where we´ ll get ready for our attempt to the south face of the peak.
Day 2
The following day we will approach to the base of the wall carrying some of the gear we ll need for the climb, it will give you a first impression of the climb itself.
Day 3-7
After this point we´ ll be looking for a good weather window ( Up To 5 days) which allow as to climb and return back safely to the Base Camp.
Day 8
After celebrating the magic of the climb we’ll hike back to Campamento Paine Grande, where the catamaran will be waiting for us.
